All our schools will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022 as there is a bank holiday for the state funeral of our wonderful Queen Elizabeth. It will be a very sad day for our country but also a celebration of a “life well lived”.

HM Queen Elizabeth II
As a school we came together today to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. Through our assembly we looked back at her life and many achievements. The children then worked in classrooms looking at her legacy. We held a two-minute silence across the school to remember our Queen and join the nation in this period of mourning.
Request for donations for Breakfast and Wraparound Club
We are always in need of new things to play with at club, so if anyone has any games/toys/train sets/cars they are willing to donate/get rid of, we would be very pleased to accept.😊
Also has anyone got a Nintendo Wii, controllers and any games they no longer need, or PS3 and Xbox 360 games? 😀
Thank you 👍
Mrs Sarah Bennett

A Big Summer Thank You
We have reached the end of the year and have had a fabulous day here in school.
The Year 6 pupils performed The Pirates of the Curry Bean in their leavers assembly in front of their parents and had a super time receiving gifts and eating pizza! They then joined the rest of the school in the afternoon for Crudgington’s Got Talent. We had a great selection of acts and they all received big rounds of applause and cheers from the audience. Well done to everyone who took part in these events, it is not easy to stand in front of an audience to perform. Please check Twitter for photos.
We have said goodbye today to Mrs Rudd, our 1:1 TA and to Steph Plant, our Sport Coach who is off to start teacher training. We will miss them both!
We have also bid farewell to our Chair and Vice Chair of the Friends of Crudgington School, Suzanna Tomlin and Jo MacArthur. We cannot thank you enough for the fantastic fund raising you have organised over the past year and for the support given to us here in School.
We have also given our best wishes (along with flowers and Prosecco) to Ms Flynn and Miss Plumb who are both getting married over the summer. Good Luck to them!
We, of course wish, our Year 6 leavers all the very best for the future and are sure they will all flourish and shine at their new schools. Don’t forget us.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone involved in our school – staff, parents, pupils and others, who together make a great Team.
Happy Holidays from everyone at Crudgington School
