Extreme Weather Warning
The following note has gone home with the children today –
Dear parents/carers,
As you may be aware the weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday is currently showing a possible high of 36 degrees plus. Please remember to apply sun cream to your child, supply them with a water bottle and a hat. Children are also allowed to wear pe kits or light clothing (with sensible footwear) instead of their uniforms on these days.
In school children have access to filtered, chilled water throughout the day and they will only be allowed to play out for short periods of time – weather permitting.
We will up-date you should the forecasts show a continuation of this extreme weather.
