Allergies and Lunch Boxes
As there are some children in school with food allergies, please could we ask you to avoid certain items being packed in lunch boxes – namely any items that contain nuts, sesame seeds and shellfish/crustaceans.
Could we also give a reminder that lunchboxes, once in school, are not refrigerated and so care should be taken when packing certain foodstuffs, ie fresh milk, fish etc.
Young Voices
The postponed concert has been rescheduled to 19th May 2022. Our choir’s attendance has been confirmed and the coach rebooked. There have been no further up-dates from YV this week, however please be advised that audience tickets will only be available through The Ticket Factory (03443388000).
We will need possibly 2 volunteers to go along to this event to support Miss Jones and Miss Latham. Should anyone wish to volunteer please let the office know asap. Anyone who wishes to volunteer would need a current school DBS and be able to spare the whole day (approx. 11.30 am to 10.30 pm). Depending on how many people come forward, we will select 2 names from a hat.

If you child does not wish to take up a place or if there are any questions that you might have, please let us know. Young Voices
We have, this week, been informed that the Young Voices concert at the Resort World Arena in Birmingham has been rescheduled for Thursday, 19th May. We will restart the Choir Club after half term in order to get in as much rehearsal time as possible. All those who attended the Club with Miss Horton last term will automatically have a place. However, should anyone not wish to re-join please let us know in the office and any spare places can then be offered to other pupils. For any parents wishing to buy tickets it may still be possible to do through the Ticket Factory (03443388000).
Goodbye to Miss Humpage
We are today bidding farewell to Miss Humpage, who has been our student teacher in Class 4 since September. She will be taking up another placement within the LCT at HLC Primary School. We wish her all good luck for the future and look forward to seeing her as a fully qualified teacher!
Congratulations
A big congratulations to Miss Jones this week as she has been awarded RQT of the Year by the Learning Community Trust. We are all very proud of her. Well done Miss Jones!
