Covid Reminder
Just a reminder that if your child is showing any symptoms of COVID please arrange for a test. The current advice from the Telford & Wrekin Health Hub is that pupils who are identified as close contacts will be contacted by national test and trace. They will be advised to take a PCR test. Parents are asked to inform the school as soon as possible if the pupil has been identified as close contact. Pupils should be allowed to attend school if they do not have any symptoms.
Thank you

Walking Bus
Whilst we are still able to use the car park at The Lion, hopefully until Christmas, we are looking to reinstate the Walking Bus. We are therefore looking for some kind volunteers to come forward to run this, both in the morning and again after school.
If you would like to volunteer please e-mail into crudgingtonschool@lct.education giving your name and availability, a timetable will then be put together. All volunteers will need to have a DBS check and once we have heard from you we will send out a link.
Please could all children bring a pair of wellies or outdoor shoes into school for use at lunchtimes on the field.
Children require a change of footwear to enable them to go and play outside at lunchtimes on the school field during the Autumn and Winter months.
Please can you ensure that the wellies/shoes are clearly named.
Thank you for your support.
Dear Parents/Carers,
It has been nice to see an extra bit of sunshine as we welcomed everyone back to school. The children have settled down well into classes and are getting back into the whole school routines. It has been lovely to see the children eating dinner together and playing with their friends in different classes at break and lunch.
A very warm welcome to our new EYFS children and families, Miss Latham and Mrs Williams have been busy settling everyone in this week.
On Monday we will be welcoming Mrs Perrin as our new Office Manager. She is excited to be part of the school community and is looking forward to getting to know everyone. Many thanks to Mrs Bennett who has covered the office full time during our first week back.
The school has seen significant investment over the summer holidays and has been painted throughout and the lighting has been upgraded to LED – everything looks nice and fresh for the new term.
Have a good weekend.
Best regards,
Adam Ames
Headteacher
