We feel it’s important to inspire the children to learn by providing rich and exciting experiences.
Throughout the year, we regularly take the children on educational trips and also have inspirational visitors come to the school.
Children also enjoy the experience of travelling on a coach or minibus to their days out.
We have also taken the whole school to the cinema for the past two years, just before we break up for Christmas, to watch a film, which they have thoroughly enjoyed.
Every two years the Years 5 and 6 children have the opportunity to attend a residential week (5 days) at Arthog centre in North Wales. The children have the opportunity to take part in Orienteering, Gorge Walking, Team Building tasks, Raft building and so many more activities.
For some children this is their first time away from home for more than a night – it is a wonderful experience and the children are accompanied by their Class Staff and supervised on activities by Trained experienced centre staff.
The children come back tired from all of their experiences but with many tales of their adventures, and they all enjoy themselves.
