School Lunch Accounts – Important Notice
School Lunch Accounts – Important Notice
As you will know we will shortly be coming to the end of the financial year. Unfortunately at this point, any arrears that appear on pupils school meal accounts are taken by the local authority direct from school fund to make up the debt. With this in mind we ask that all accounts are kept topped up and that everyone is in credit at the end of the month. We do appreciate that sometimes outstanding amounts are quite small but lots of small amounts soon add up. We hope that you will support us in this matter.
The balance checker facility is now working on the T&W website
Road Works and Temporary Lights
Road Works and Temporary Lights
We have received the following communication from Pam Weston of Shropshire Homes informing us of temporary lights and closure of the ‘triangle’.
I am writing to ask if you could inform your parents of the roadworks that will be starting on 28th March 2022. These works are in order for us to install the Toucan Crossing (Signalled crossing point) and resurface the road, to do this we will need traffic lights and a night closure as follows:-
2 Way lights from 28.3.22 – 25.4.22
Closure of Feeder land from A442 – B5062 For duration of the works due to proximity of lights
Night Closure from 8pm – 6am 25th & 26th Only, Diversion plan – PLEASE NOTE THE OFFICAL ROUTE IS VERY EXTREME…… we are unable to advise on any other routes people choose to take other than this.
Please come back to me if you have any questions and I will endeavour to answer them for you, but I would like to make sure that everyone is informed correctly as social media can be both a blessing and a curse these days.
I appreciate this may cause delays, but unfortunately this is unavoidable on such a busy road, but the works are necessary. We will endeavour to get these works completed sooner, but the night closure will still stand on these dates.
